According to studies carried out, one same type of emitter, fluid and energy contribution can vary their performance in terms of the engineering applied in its construction process. This conclusion based on studies and laboratory tests carried out by IAT, proving the application of the components to the set is a fundamental factor when obtaining the desired performance. Heat is not equal to comfort.
Using as an example the application of the thermal fluid to the emitter, we take three samples manufactured with the same components and construction process but a different application method.
Result obtained in terms of the fluid application method, starting with a homogeneous external temperature of 10ºC:
From which it can be concluded the relationship between energy, its transformation into heat and the transmission and dissipation of this to the environment, not always translates into the same proportional ratio, it being different depending on the variables given in this process.
Depending on the application of this energy and under what conditions it is applied, the performance obtained will vary noticeably. The fact of bringing each process forward by 5 minutes translates into an increase in energy saving, that is determined by a greater performance.
Method C corresponds to that used by IAT for the manufacture of the Acesol El Calor Azul® emitters, after many studies, tests and trials. Tests taking as initial reference the "know how" accumulated after years of experience in the manufacture of thermoelectric emitters.
A method commonly used by other manufacturers to shorten the reaction and emitter heating times, implies increasing the power it consumes, achieving the objective but with greater consumption and worse quality of the heat”.
